ABOUT SARMA & CO. PHOTOGRAPHY Congratulations on your engagement! We hope that you have enjoyed looking through our portfolio and that you can envision yourselves in our style of photography. Please email email@example.com to get more details or say hello through our contact form. We look forward to learning about you and your wedding plans! Sarma & Co. Photography creates natural imagery with true to life color and neutral black and whites that will stand the test of time. We strive to create wedding photos that leave a lasting impression. Images that are candid, honest and have energy and emotion. While we will photograph the pretty details, we believe the organic moments and the portraits are to be focused on more. We believe in documenting your wedding day through an unobtrusive, relaxing and genuine approach. Known for her calm demeanor, Sarma will put you at ease on your wedding day allowing you to be yourself making the experience of being photographed very enjoyable and stress free. Her photography is celebrated for capturing your true personalities on your wedding day. Couples are always amazed at all of the special moments that were candidly captured, never noticing the photographers. Our clients are couples who consider their wedding photography one of the most important investments they'll budget for during their planning process. Couples who treasure wedding images that are not chasing photography trends. We have no interest in processing techniques that are the latest fad and will quickly be out of date. A little bit about Sarma personally- I live in Brooklyn with my husband (who is also a photographer, advertising and catalogue, not weddings) and our two boys. When my husband and I were married (18 years ago) we did not hire a wedding photographer (I know! we're both photographers, can you believe it?) I regret it. I have one photo framed but have no other photos to show our boys of us together with our family and friends celebrating our union that day in May. I am originally from Boston but no longer have a Boston accent because I like pronouncing the R in my name. My name is Latvian, in case you are wondering where my names comes from. I'm first generation here in the U.S. I love to travel and wish I had more opportunity to do so. Happy to travel for work in case you are planning a destination wedding :) The Hudson Valley is where I like to spend my time off hiking with my family in the summer. We're learning to ski and snowboard this winter. You'll find me every Monday morning sipping a soy green tea latte on the way to my Soul Cycle class. That's a little bit about me for the time being- we'll get to know each other more throughout your planning process but I'll end with my favorite quote "Love is Love is Love". Ask me anything you want to know about your wedding photography investment, what to expect on your wedding day or vendor referrals. Happy to answer any questions you might have.
